A patient has been diagnosed of Lassa Fever in
Lagos, the Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole has confirmed.
The patient, a 25-year-old student of Ahmadu Bello
University is currently being treated at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital
(LUTH), Idi-Araba.
According to findings, the patient was first
admitted at a private hospital in
Ojokoro area of Lagos State where he was referred to LUTH due to complication.
However, Health Minister Isaac Adewole said the
patient was responding to treatment.
